O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.61 of 2016 on the file of the 1st respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners; learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the 1st respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. On the complaint lodged by one Durairaju, the 1st respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.61 of 2016 for the offence under Section 420 IPC. Challenging which, the accused are before this Court on the ground that they have arrived at an amicable settlement. It appears that the accused had filed Crl.O.P.No.5237 of 2016 for anticipatory bail and the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre, where the parties appear to have arrived at a settlement and they have also entered into a settlement agreement on 17.06.2016, a copy of which is enclosed in the typed set of papers.

4. Today, Durairaju, the de facto complainant and the accused are present. The de facto complainant is identified by his counsel Mr.Appaswamee and he stated that he has no objection in the FIR in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Crime No.61 of 2016 being quashed against all the accused.

5. In the light of the above, this petition is allowed and the FIR in Crime No.61 of 2016 on the file of the 1st respondent is hereby quashed as against all the accused.
