ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to conduct investigation on the First Information Report registered in Crime No.70 of 2019 for the offences under sections 464, 471, 468 and 420 of IPC and file a final report.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the Crime No.70 of 2019 on 15.02.2019, no final report is filed till date.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the investigation is in progress and respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of two months.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
