Pleader (Taxes) C O M M O N O R D E R Since the issue involved in all these Petitions is one and the same, the matters are taken up for disposal by a common order.

Today, all the petitioners have filed an affidavit stating that even though they are entitled to be promoted in the panel for 2014 on the 1st March of 2014 on the basis of the exemption granted to adhoc promotees, now, they are agreeable for considering their names for promotion as on 1st March 2015, which is the crucial date fixed by the respondents for promotion. In such view of the matter, the petitioners seek that the authorities will pass appropriate orders promoting them from the year 2015. 3.

In view of the latest development, recording the affidavit dated 17.12.2016 produced by the petitioners before this Court today, this Court directs the respondents to pass appropriate orders with regard to the promotion of

the petitioners, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

These Contempt Petitions are closed with the above direction.
