PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the third respondent to produce the body or person of Mr.Rajesh Muniappa Naidu, son of Muniappa Naidu, aged about 41 years, who is under the illegal custody of the third respondent before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) Complaining that the petitioner's son-in-law, Rajesh Muniappa Naidu, son of Muniappa Naidu, aged about 41 years, was taken away from the house of her daughter by some unknown persons, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that a case in Cr.No.45 of 2024 has been registered as against the detenue viz., Rajesh Muniappa Naidu, and he has also been remanded to judicial custody on 12.03.2024. As such, the custody cannot be termed to be an illegal custody.

3.In view of the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. (M.S.R.,J.) (S.M.,J.) 13.03.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Anu To 1.The Superintendent of Police, Vellore District, Vellore.
