ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.889 of 2019 pending on the file of the second respondent Police Station. 2.It is the grievance of the petitioner that though the FIR came to be registered on 06.11.2019 against the accused persons, viz. Syed Samsudeen, Devarasu and Devi under Sections 406, 420 and 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Charging Exorbitant Interest Act, 2003, the respondent Police has not taken any steps to file charge sheet. The petitioner is being victimized at the hands of the accused persons and it is the apprehension of the petitioner that the respondent Police is colluding with the accused persons.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who took notice for the respondents. 4.Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, this Court directs the second respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.889 of 2019 and file final report within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
