The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that the order dated 18.07.2016 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.13743 of 2016 has been complied with and a regular FIR has been registered in Cr.No.401 of 2017 on 12.07.2017 for offences under Sections 447, 294(b) and 506(i) IPC against Selvapalani..

4. Recording the same, this contempt petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to proceed with the investigation in Cr.No.401 of 2017 in a fair manner and file either closure report or a Final Report, as the case may be, expeditiously.
