O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to file final report in Crime No.2002 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police station. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in respect of the occurrence that took place on 05.05.2015 setting fire on the house of the petitioner by rowdy elements, the petitioner preferred a complaint to the respondent police and the same is pending investigation on the file of the respondent police in Crime No.2002 of 2015. Even though the complaint has been registered in the year 2015, even at this length of time, the respondent police has not taken any action against the accused persons. Stating so, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for a direction to the respondent police to file final report within a stipulated time frame. 3.Mrs.Kritika Kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

takes notice for the respondent.

4.Taking note of the fact that the FIR in Crime No.2002 of 2015 is pending from the year 2015 and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.2002 of 2015 pending on the file of the respondent police station, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
