ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for alleged offences punishable under sections 417 and 506(ii) of IPC, the petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner received a sum of Rs.9290/- towards Four Wheeler Insurance premium from the defacto complainant and failed to pay the same to the Insurance Company.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has only advanced a sum of Rs.9290/- towards insurance premium for the defacto complainant's vehicle. 4.
However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that only a petition enquiry is pending. 5.
Though it is stated that only a petition enquiry is pending, having regard to the fact that the petitioner has undertaken to appear before the respondent police to complete the enquiry, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai, on his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
