ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to provide sufficient and effective police protection to the petitioner firm, its authorised representatives, employees, labourers and contractors, from the respondents 2 to 8 and their men, associates, or agents based on the representation dated 02.01.2026.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the 1st respondent and perused the entire documents placed on record.
3. According to the petitioner-Company, the petitioner claim to be the owner of the property comprised in Survey no.94/3E2 part measuring to an extent of one acre, property comprised in Survey No.94/3E3 part, measuring to an extent of one acre and property comprised in Survey no.94/3E4 Part, measuring one acre, in total, to an extent of three acres by way of sale deed dated 04.03.2021. While being so, the respondents 2 to 8 herein are also claiming to be assignors in respect of the suit property, attempted to tresspass into the property, therefore, the petitioner filed O.S.No.68 of 2024 for permanent injunction and obtained Judgment and decree dated 30.07.2025 against the respondents.
4. The learned Government Advocate [Crl.Side] appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the subject lands were already assigned in favour of the respondents 2 to 8 herein. Already, this issue has been taken cognizance by the District Collector, Thiruvallur and by his proceedings dated 02.02.2026, the subject lands have been classified as 'Government Anatheenam'. The following observation was also made by the District Collector, Thiruvallur:-
5. Thus, it is clear that District Collector, Thiruvallur, is taking appropriate action to secure the house site patta, that apart, the petitioner obtained exparte injunction order as against the respondents by showing the patta and sale deed.
6. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be granted and the present Writ Petition is devoid of merits and the same stands dismissed. No costs.
