ORDER

This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.41434 of 2016, by order dated 25.11.2016, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner seeking appointment as Plot Watcher in Supernumerary post in the light of the seniority No.5437 as found in the Statewide Seniority list with effect from the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ date of his juniors' appointment as Forest Watcher and to

pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law and also in the light of the order of this Court dated 27.02.2015 made in W.P.No.10298 of 2014 (G.Parimala Vs. State of Tamil Nadu and others), within a period of four weeks.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 25.11.2016 passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Additional Government Pleader (Forest) appearing for the respondent submitted that the order passed by this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent and the respondent has passed an order on the representation of the petitioner.

4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed.
