ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the respondent to re-engage the petitioners to the post of Junior Assistant/Messenger with all other consequential benefits.
2.The petitioners were engaged as casual labourers and they were discharged from services.
3.The learned counsel for the respondent states that there is no order of appointment at all. Since the petitioners were engaged orally to perform certain temporary works, they were discharged from services. Such temporary employees are not entitled to claim regularization or permanent absorption. Even, the Division bench of this Court directed the respondent not to engage temporary employees in violation of the Rules or terms and conditions of appointment. More 2/4
over, the petitioners were discharged long back and therefore, they are not entitled to claim any re-engagement or otherwise.
4.Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
