Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent pay the pending amunt of difference of Leave Liability of Rs.61,179/- difference of Gratuity of Rs.88,879/- to the petitioner as communicated in Letter No.1066712033 (1269) PLO/TNSTC(V)/2023 dated 28.12.2023 under Right to Information Act 2005 along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum payable from the date of retirement in the light of the judgment passed by this Court on 30.01.2024 in W.P.No.1629 of 2024 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents to pay the difference of leave salary, difference of gratuity and interest for the belated payment.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner had entered into service of the respondent Corporation as Junior Tradesman on 29.03.1994. He retired from service on 31.05.2022. After his retirement, the petitioner was not paid the difference of leave salary payment and difference of service gratuity. In fact, the petitioner was also informed under Right to Information Act that the petitioner is entitled for the said amount. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation and it is pending.
4. Considering the above, the respondents are directed to disburse the pending amount of difference of leave liability of Rs.61,179/-, difference of gratuity of Rs.88,879/- to the petitioner with applicable interest within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
No costs.
