PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the detenu Ramalingam, son of Radhakrishnan, aged about 47 years, residing at No.315, Shivraj Street, Pullarampakkam Village & Post, Thiruvallur Taluk & District before this Court and set him at liberty.

(Order of the court was made by MR.N.KIRUBAKARAN.J.,) The petitioner has filed this petition stating that her husband went to police station in connection with a case on 11.03.2020 and thereafter, he has not returned home and sought for production of the detenu Ramalingam, son of Radhakrishnan. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.When the matter is called today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenu has been arrested and remanded before Judicial Magistrate No.1, Thiruvallur on 13.03.2020 in a case registered against him in Crime Number 93 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 294(b), 353, 506 (ii) of Indian Penal Code and 25 (1) (A) of Explosive Substances Act on the file of the Thiruvallur Taluk Police Station. Therefore, there is no illegal custody of the detenu.
