ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction for expediting the trial in C.C.No.5210 of 2020, pending trial on the file of the XI Metropolitan Magistrate at Saidapet, Chennai and to complete the trial in a time bound manner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The petitioners are accused in C.C. No. 5210 of 2020 on the file of XI Metropolitan Magistrate at Saidapet, Chennai on the complaint given by one Raja Pandian. Since the trial proceedings are not complete, the petitioners filed this present petition.

4. Considering the limited prayer sought for in this petition, the learned XI Metropolitan Magistrate at Saidapet, Chennai is directed to complete the Trial in C.C. No. 5210 of 2020, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
