O R D E R

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 115, 118(1) and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 in Crime No.33 of 2026, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner attacked his own 1/4

father using a photo frame and thereby caused grievous injuries. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any such offence as alleged by the defacto complainant and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that he is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court and ready to co-operate with the investigation. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police while opposing the anticipatory bail application reiterated the prosecution's case.

5. Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

From the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this is the case where the petitioner has assaulted his own father and which action cannot be tolerated, and a senior citizens must be respected. In the case in hand, when his father while intervening to resolve the issue between the petitioner and his wife, the petitioner assaulted his father and which act is to be viewed seriously. Hence, from the submission made by the 2/4

learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is of the view that the petitioner does not deserve to enlarge him on anticipatory bail.
