Respondent Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the representation dated 27.02.2015 and to pass appropriate order within such time that may be stipulated by this Court after following the procedure as laid down under the law.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that his father Lt.R.Dharma Naidu was in possession of lands in patta Nos.210 and 212 in S.Nos.416/3D, 416/3H, 419/3B and 419/4B and the respondent has issued a notice in Form 7 under the Land Acquisition Central Act 1894 and aggrieved by the said Act, the petitioner submitted a representation in the form of legal notice dated 27.02.2015 to the respondent and though it was acknowledged, the petitioner has not been favoured with any response. 3. Heard the submissions of Mr.C.T.Prabhakar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondent.

4. Taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the representation, this Court, directs the respondent to consider the representation dated 27.02.2015 in the form of legal notice submitted by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the person concerned.
