ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 406, 417 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.21 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner herein has given a false promise to marry the defacto complainant, had sexual relationship with her, also received cash and i-phone from her. Later, the petitioner has refused to marry her and married one Divya on 21.11.2021. Aggrieved by that, the defacto complainant has given a complaint and the respondent police registered a case under Sections 406, 417 and 420 of IPC. There was a primafacie material to show that the money was transferred by the defacto complainant into the account of the petitioner during the relevant point of time. The petitioner's counsel is unable to account the reason for such transfer. In such circumstances, the anticipatory bail deserves to be dismissed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
