2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the third respondent herein to rectify the errors made in the Revenue records in respect of the land measuring about 0.00.5 hectares (288 sq.ft) comprised in Survey No.83/32, situated at Dhinnapalli Choodapuram Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, based on his representation dated 18.02.2019 and issue patta to him.

3. It is stated that the petitioner has purchased the vacant land measuring an extent of 0.00.5 hectares (288 sq.ft) in Survey No.83/32, situated at Dhinnapalli Choodapuram Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, from one Paapamma on 04.03.2015 and he is in possession and enjoyment of the said land. It is stated that the petitioner came to know that the land, which was purchased by him, was wrongly classified as "Kinaru" in the Revenue records. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation on 18.02.2019 to the respondents requesting them to rectify the mistake crept in the Revenue records and issue patt in his favour. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far.

4. Heard both sides.

5. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the third respondent to consider and decide the same. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, only by directing the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.02.2019 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
