This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 919 days in filing the above criminal appeal against the judgment of conviction and sentence in S.C.No.19 of 2020 dated 22.06.2022 passed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Perambalur.

2. This Court is convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same in usual course.
