Prayer: Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the orders in (1) Na.Ka.No.5872/2021/E2, dated 30.07.2013 of the second respondent and (2) Pro.Na.Ka.No.768/2009/E2 dated 28.08.2012 of the third respondent, quash the same issue consequential directions to the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in service with continuity of service, back wages and all other attendant and monetary benefits etc. For Petitioner : Mr.J. Today, 27.03.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has passed away but he is not aware of the date of death of the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted the copy of the death certificate issued by the Greater Chennai Corporation dated 26.11.2018 in which it is mentioned that the date of death of the petitioner is 16.10.2018 and vide Registration No. D-2018:33-16516000104. 2/4
3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for either side, this writ petition is dismissed as abated. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
