ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 120(B), 406 and 420 of IPC and Section 5 of TN Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishment) Act, 1997 in Crime No. not known on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police submitted that petition enquiry in C.S.R.Nos.225, 226, 227 of 2020 is pending against the petitioners.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent Police is directed to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complete the enquiry, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any prima facie case is made out against the petitioners, the respondent police shall register the First Information Report or close the petition enquiry. Till then, the respondent police is directed not to arrest the petitioners.

5. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is closed.
