ORDER
While disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.13914 of 2016, by order dated 15.04.2016, this Court directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.01.2016 and to pass appropriate orders/take necessary action, on merits and in accordance with law, by
affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to the necessary parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks. 2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the said order dated 15.04.2016 passed by this Court.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that in compliance with the order of this Court, the respondent has considered the representation of the petitioner and passed an order vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.4668/2016/a2, dated 07.07.2017, partially allowing the claim made by the petitioner. He has also produced a copy of the proceedings issued by the 2nd respondent. 4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law, if he so desires. 09.02.2018 ssv
