This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 24.10.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta in his name with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.S.I.Sharukumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.M.R.Gokulkrishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the Revenue Divisional Officer is now conducting enquiry and that appropriate orders will be passed within a period of four (4) weeks.

4. Recording the above submission, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner seeking for individual patta in his name and appropriate orders will be passed on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of 2/4

four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
