O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed for issue of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 02.08.2024 wherein, the petitioner is seeking for enhancement of compensation and to pass orders within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents produced written instructions received from the second respondent. The second respondent has stated that the representation made by the petitioner on 02.08.2024 was considered and since the petitioner is seeking for enhancement of compensation, the same is being referred to the file of the Principal District Court, Kallakurichi.

3. In the light of the above written instructions given by the second respondent, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to refer the representation dated 02.08.2024 made by the petitioner to the concerned Court within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, it is left open to the petitioner to work out the remedy before the concerned Court.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
