ORDER

By this application, the plaintiff seeks to implead the seventh respondent herein as the eighth defendant in the suit. The application was 1/3

filed in the factual context of the second defendant passing away after the SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J rna suit was instituted. The proposed eighth defendant is the daughter of the deceased.

2. At the hearing on 10.03.2025, notice was issued to the eighth defendant returnable by 26.03.2025. Learned counsel for the plaintiff has placed on record affidavit of service dated 24.03.2025. The acknowledgment card and track consignment report annexed thereto evidence service of notice on the proposed eighth defendant on 12.03.2025. The eighth defendant has not entered appearance in person or through counsel.

3. Upon examining the affidavit in support of this application and the death certificate and legal heir certificate annexed thereto, this application is liable to be allowed. Consequently, the application is allowed as prayed for. Therefore, the plaintiff is directed to carry out the consequential amendments in the plaint on or before 02.04.2025 and serve a copy of the amended plaint on the other parties within a week therefrom. 26.03.2025 (1/2) rna A.No.1084 of 2025 2/3
