Respondents Prayer in C.M.P.No.5924 of 2025: Petition filed seeking to condone the delay of 494 days for filing review application in W.P.No.32966 of 2019. For Petitioner : Mr.R.S.Jain Le Sadmar in both petitions ***** COMMON ORDER (Order of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) These applications have been filed seeking to condone the delay of 768 days and 494 days respectively in filing the review applications.
2. The order that is sought to be reviewed was a common order made 3/7
by a Division Bench of this Court on 16.06.2023. Certain directions were issued granting permanent status to the workmen in the review applicant (District Central Cooperative Banks). The Hon'ble Supreme Court has refused to interfere with the permanent status granted to the workmen concurrently. The order of the Hon'ble Supreme Court reads as follows:-
2. As concurrent findings granting permanent status is ordered in favour of the private respondents, we see no reason to interfere. The Special Leave Petitions are accordingly dismissed.
3. It is after this order, these review applications have been filed seeking to review the common judgment of the Division Bench. We do not think we could entertain the review, particularly after the above orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court, which confirms the judgment of the High Court on merits. It is not an in limine dismissal of Special Leave Petition it is a reasoned order. Therefore, we find that this Court cannot entertain the review applications.
4. Hence, these delay petitions are dismissed. The review 4/7
applications in SR stage will stand rejected. (R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) (K. SURENDER, J.) 14.07.2025 dsa Index : No Internet : Yes : No Speaking order 5/7
