O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members without any basis and also not to harass them to come to the police station without proper procedure as established by law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that the petitioner is involved in 12 cases and that, he is kept under surveillance by the police. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submit that the petitioner was arrested in two cases in Crime Nos.570 of 2015 and 489 of 2015 and now he was enlarged on bail. Now, it is apprehended that the police will implead the petitioner in other cases and also in Goondas Act. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Per contra, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is under surveillance of the respondent police and if the respondent came to know that the petitioner is about to involve in any other case, the respondent police would take action and in accordance with law.

5. Recording the submission, this petition is closed with the direction to the respondent police not to harass the family members of the petitioner.
