PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records relating to the Criminal case registered in Crime No.101 of 2019 dated 10.02.2019 under section 436 and 380 IPC on the file of the 1st respondent police quash the same.

ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.101 of 2019 dated 10.02.2019, pending investigation on the file of the 1st respondent police.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation was completed and final report was filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvarur on 18.05.2022 and that the same is yet to be taken on file. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed a copy application before the concerned Court and it was returned with an endorsement that no final report has been filed till date in Crime No.101 of 2019. 4.This criminal original petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1st respondent to follow up with the final report that is said to have been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvarur and the learned Judicial Magistrate shall ensure that the final report is acted upon, within a period of four weeks and the case is numbered.
