Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 02.07.2014 and grant patta to the petitioner in respect of Old.SF.No.284 and New RS.No.374/3 and 374/4 in Mylampadi village, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District.

ORDER

Heard Mr.V.Bharathidasan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice for the respondents and perused the materials available on record. 2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to grant patta in respect of the land in question by considering his representation dated 02.07.2014. 3.A counter affidavit has been filed by the 2nd respondent and in paragraphs 3 and 4 of the said counter, the following stand has been taken by the 2nd respondent:- "3.It is submitted that after a detailed enquiry from the 2nd respondent in the representation of the petitioner dated 02.07.2014, has been disposed by the 2nd respondent and decided to grant patta to the petitioner in respect of Old SF.No.284 and New RS.No.374/3 and 374/4 in Mylampadi Village, Bhavani https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Taluk, Erode District and issue Patta No.506, of New RS.No.574/3 and Patta No.617 fo 374/4 along ARegister and Chitta annexed with the typed set. 4.It is further submitted that from the above enquiry of the petitioner representation 2nd respondent after has sent the reply letter enclosing the acknowledgment card to the petitioner address Kuppusamy, S/o.Chinnappa Gounder Krishnapuram, Mylampadi Village, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District on 29.10.2014 with regard to grant of patta to the petitioner."

4.In the light of the above stand taken by the 2nd respondent, no further orders are required to be passed except to record the above stand taken by the 2nd respondent referred to supra. If the petitioner has any grievance, it is open to the petitioner to approach the 2nd respondent by way of a fresh representation. 5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above observation.
