This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 23.12.2024 wherein the petitioner has sought for issuance of patta in his name with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard Mr.K.Gandhi Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 04.08.1969 registered as document No.1240/1969. Even though the total extent of property is 13 cents, the patta was granted only for three cents. The balance was categorised as 'Tharisu'. In view of the same, the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.450 of 2019 before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Sendurai and sought for the relief of declaration and permanent injunction and this suit was decreed by order dated 28.06.2024. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation seeking for issuance of patta by properly reflecting the entire extent of the property. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before 2/4

this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit an OnLine application to the third respondent along with all the necessary particulars and materials. On receipt of the same, the third respondent shall act upon the OnLine application and pass necessary orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of the OnLine application from the petitioner. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
