(DELIVERED BY DR. S.VIMALA, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to produce K.Ibra Fathima, D/o.K.Naseerudin, and set her at liberty.

2. Today, the detenue K.Ibra Fathima, is produced before this Court by the respondent Police.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned counsel appearing for R2 and detenue and also the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for R1.

4. The detenue submits that she wants to continue to be in the custody of her father, the second respondent herein, for pursuing higher studies.
