This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry on the functioning of Veppampattu Panchayat, audit the panchayat accounts in pursuance to the various representations given by the petitioners till 19.01.2013.

When the matter is called today, Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the period of presidency of the 4th respondent came to an end long back ago. Therefore, the prayer of the petitioners has become infructuous.
