PRAYER: This criminal miscellaneous petition has been filed under Section 528 of the B.N.S.S, 2023, to modify the condition imposed in para no.6(b) in Crl.O.P.No.2615 of 2025 dated 04.02.2025. For Petitioner(s):

ORDER

The petitioner/accused seeks modification of the condition directing him to appear daily before the learned IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ponneri, stating that he has a life threat.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent submitted that the Final Report has now been filed and the case is pending trial in S.C.No.395 of 2025 before the learned IV Additional District Judge, Ponneri.

3. In view of the above, this Court is inclined to modify the condition 6(b) imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.2615 of 2025, directing the petitioner to appear before the Trial Court on all hearing dates. The other conditions imposed in the order dated 04.02.2025 in Crl.O.P. No.2615 of 2025 shall remain unaltered.

4. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is ordered, and the condition is modified.
