Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2016 and take appropriate action to lay a pathway/road on the eastern side of the river bund of Kallar and to construct the bund of the check dam situate in Survey No.6 in Kattukottai Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District within a time frame.

Heard Mr.S.Sathia Chandran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.R.M.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate accepting notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 3 and Mr.K.Balamurugan, learned Government Advocate accepting notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent. counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2016 and take appropriate action to lay a pathway/road on the eastern side of the river bund of Kallar and to construct the bund of the check dam situate in Survey No.6 in Kattukottai Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District within a time frame.

3.The learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent has to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2016.

4.In the light of the said submissions, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.03.2016 and pass orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation along with a copy of this order to the 3rd respondent, for due compliance of the above direction.
