O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the summon dated 26.12.2019 issued by the respondent calling upon the petitioner for enquiry in Crime No.20 of 2018 under Sections 498(A), 313, 494 @ 498(A) 494 on the file of the respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even though the petitioner appeared before the respondent on four occasions, the respondent again, is calling upon the petitioner to appear for enquiry. Therefore, it has been challenged by this petition.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is called upon for enquiry to complete the investigation filed in Crime No.20 of 2018 against the petitioner within a period stipulated by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. It is brought to the notice of this Court that this Court, by order dated 25.01.2019 in Crl. O.P. No.1865 of 2019 has already directed the respondent to file a final report within a period of two months on receipt of the order. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the investigation of the case. Further, the respondent is directed not to harass the petitioner on enquiry and file a final report as directed by this Court.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions is closed.
