Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 151 of the C.P.C. to grant stay of execution of the decree dated 02.04.2016 made in M.C.O.P.No.528 of 2012 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Principal District Judge, Perambalur (IN CMP.No.2891 of 2018) pending disposal of the above appeal (CMA.No.259 of 2018). Order : This petition coming on this day for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.S.ARUN KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.A.V.JAYGANESH,Advocate on behalf of the respondents, the court made the following order:- https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In this petition, by order dated 20.02.2018, this Court granted an order of interim stay on condition that the petitioner deposits the entire award amount within a period of four weeks from the date of the said order. While passing such order, it was specifically mentioned that "in the event of failure on the part of the petitioner to deposit the said amount within the stipulated period, the interim stay granted would stand automatically vacated".

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner was unable to state whether the said compensation amount has been deposited by the appellant / petitioner or not.

3.In view of the above, this petition stands closed, by virtue of the specific clause in the order dated 20.02.2018 as stated in para 1 of this order.
