Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take action on the basis of the petitioner's letter dated 27.08.2019 and demolish the illegal construction to the extent of 2700 sq.ft put up by the 4th respondent in the premises at Old No.36, New No.53, 6th street, Anna Nagar (EAST), Chennai 600 102, in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971, and pass such further or other orders as this Court may deem fit.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] The matter in issue pertains to alleged unauthorised construction, put up by the 4th respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that subsequent to the entertainment of the present Writ Petition, the offending construction has been removed and therefore, nothing remains for further adjudication in this Writ Petition.

3. This Court heard the submission of Mr.Karthik Rajan, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 1st respondent and Mr.Raja Srinivas, learned Staning Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3.

4. In the light of the said development, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
