illegal, improper, against the rule of law and principles of natural justice and thereby direction the 2nd respondent to include the petitioner's name in the panel for the post of Line Man in F/M/vz;/121-013/epgp2-c1-nfh/t/c/g/c2010?3 dated 11.11.2013 and promote the petitioner as Line Man in the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board of Chennai.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed challenging the order of the second respondent dated 11.11.2013 and for consequential direction to include the petitioner's name in the panel for the post of Lineman and to promote him. 2.The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the petitioner had already retired from service on 31.01.2017 and all his benefits have been settled in the category of Senior Grade Wireman.

3.When the writ petition was listed for hearing on 06.12.2024 and also on 17.12.2024, there was no representation on the side of the petitioner. Therefore, the writ petition was directed to be listed today i.e. 19.12.2024 under the caption "for dismissal'. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
