O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.12.2024 by selecting the writ petitioner to the post of Graduate Teacher/BRTE 2023 in (Zoology) subject to the result of the writ petition.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner belongs to Schedule Caste community and she completed her graduation in Bachelor of Science in Microbiology in University of Madras and completed M.Sc. in Dairy Science in Arulmigu Parasakthi Women College (Autonomous), Courtallam. Thereafter, she completed M.Phil in Microbiology in Bharathidasan University and studied Diploma in Teacher Education. While so, the respondents issued a Notification No.3/2002 dated 25.10.2023 calling for the posts of Graduate Teachers/Block Resources Teachers Educators in various places. The petitioner participated in the selection process and secured 70.50 marks. However, her name has not been included in the list of provisional selected persons. Thereby, the petitioner made a representation dated 23.12.2024 before the respondents that there are

vacancies available for the post of Zoology and the petitioner is eligible to be selected, however, the same has not been considered. Thereby, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the second respondent is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.12.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.12.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
