ORDER
This Court, while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.41996 of 2016, by order dated 30.11.2016, directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation seeking approval of her appointment as Record Clerk in
Women's Christian College, Nagercoil with effect from 01.08.2016 and to pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law and in the light of approval given to similarly placed non-teaching staffs, viz., M.Stephan and Chithirariraj Gnanadhasan, vide Na.Ka.No.59741/F2/2014 dated 13.01.2015 and also based on the orders passed by this Court as well as by the Hon'ble Supreme Court orders in W.P.No.23712 of 2018 dated 206.09.2008, W.A.No.99 of 2009 dated 24.04.2009 and SLP No.27331 of 2013 dated 04.10.2013, within a period of six weeks.
2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order dated 30.11.2016 passed by this Court.
3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate, producing a copy of the proceedings dated 06.07.2017 issued by the respondent, submitted that pursuant to the order of this Court, the respondent has passed an order rejecting the claim of the petitioner. Thus, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondent.
4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with by the respondent, nothing survives in this contempt petition for adjudication. Hence, the Contempt Petition is
closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order passed by the respondent in the manner known to law, if she is so advised.
