O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed for non-compliance of the order passed by this Court dated 18.04.2016 made in W.P.No.14240 of 2016 wherein this Court directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit the order of this Court has been complied with by the respondent, vide proceedings in Ma.Va.Na.Ka.No.A1/1999/2013 dated 22.06.2016, rejecting the request of the petitioner. The learned counsel for the respondent has also produced a copy of the said proceedings dated 22.06.2016.

3. Since the order passed by this Court has been complied with, nothing survives for adjudication. Hence, this Contempt Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the above proceedings of the respondent dated 22.06.2016 in the manner known to law, if so advised.
