This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.128 of 2016.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that a case in Crime No.128 of 2016 has been registered by the respondent police. 3.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report as expeditiously as possible.
