ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the trial court to complete the trial in CC.NO.5141/2023 on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional MM for CCB Cases at Egmore, Chennai as expeditiously as possible.

2. This Court while disposing the criminal original petition on 14.03.2024, directed the Metropolitan Magistrate, Additional MM for CCB Cases at Egmore, Chennai to complete the trial in C.C.No.5141 of 2023 within a period of nine months. Now, the learned Magistrate seeking extension of time to complete the trial.

3. In view of the above, this Court granted six months time to complete the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.5141 of 2023. It is made clear that no further extension of time will be granted.
