O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission to the cultural program scheduled to be held on 19.08.2017 in the event of Sri Angala Parameshwari Temple festival at the temple ground at Sri Angala Parameshwari Temple, Barathi Nagar, Katpadi, Vellore District.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that in spite of the representation being given to the respondent on 07.08.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 19.08.2017, the respondent has not passed orders till today. 3.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017 by order dated 03.03.2017 in similar circumstances directed the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and dispose of the same.

4.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.08.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 17.08.2017.

With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
