ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents.

3. It is seen that one Angammal had given a complaint dated 30.09.2015 against the petitioner and filed a petition in Crl.O.P.No.25495 of 2015, in which, this Court by an order dated 25.11.2015 passed the following order;

" 3. When the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that enquiry was conducted on the complaint given by the petitioner and after enquiry, the complaint given by the petitioner has been closed and also produced a copy of the closure report.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor as well as on going through the closure report, I am of the opinion that it is not a fit case for providing police protection and the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed."

4. Thereafter, Angammal gave a complaint dated 08.02.2016 and once again filed a petition in Crl.O.P.No.4744 of 2016, in which, this Court directed the respondents to enquire into the complaint dated 08.02.2016.

5. The learned Additional Public prosecutor submitted that pursuant to the direction of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.4744 of 2016, the respondent police enquired into the complaint and the same was closed. Again, the said Angammal has given a another complaint dated 02.06.2016 i.e. forwarded to the third respondent, All Women Police Station, on 04.06.2016 and that was closed on 17.06.2016.

Recording the same, this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police 'not to harass' the petitioner unnecessarily on the complaint given by Angammal, unless he is involved in any other cognizable offence.
