O R D E R

Heard Mr. S.Parthasarathy, Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Petitioner, Mr. K.Karthikeyan, Learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the First and Second Respondents, Mr. R.Baranidharan, Learned Counsel, who takes notice for the Third Respondent and Mr. Abhinav Parthasarathy, Learned Counsel, who takes notice for the fourth Respondent, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the First Respondent to dispose A.P. No. 25 of 2023 along with the stay application filed by the 2/6

Petitioner as directed in the order dated 12.07.2013 in W.P. No. 1088 of 2023 passed by this Court, within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court. 3.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the First and Second Respondents, on instructions, states that the said matter was heard on 19.03.2024 and posted for next hearing on 25.03.2024 and a memo dated 19.03.2024 has been filed to that effect, which is placed on record. 4.

In such circumstances, it shall be incumbent upon the First Respondent to send due notice to the Petitioner, the Fourth Respondent and all other persons concerned to attend the hearing on the said date as well as on the subsequent dates to which it is adjourned and ensure that there are atleast two effective hearing every month showing progress of the case. After affording full opportunity of hearing to all parties concerned following the prescribed procedure in consonance with the principles of natural justice, the First Respondent shall deal with each of the contentions raised and pass reasoned orders on merits and in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken to them under written acknowledgment. The report of such compliance shall be filed before the Registrar (Judicial) of the Court. 3/6

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 19.03.2024 Index: Yes/No NCC: Yes/No Note: Issue order copy by 25.03.2024.
