C.M.P. No.6156 of 2024 in C.R.P. No.136 of 2022 BATTU DEVANAND, J.

This Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to extend the time to comply with the conditional order dated 22.04.2022 made in the above CRP.

2. While allowing the Civil Revision Petition, this Court, by its order dated 22.04.2022, directed the petitioner to pay a cost of Rs.10,000/- to the learned counsel for the respondent, who appeared in the trial court, and Rs.5,00,000/- to the respondent by way of Demand Draft within a period of six weeks from the date of the order.

3. As the petitioner could not comply with the said order within the time stipulated by this Court, he came with the present petition seeking to extend the time granted by this Court on 22.04.2022.

4. As per the directions of this Court, the learned counsel for the petitioner produced the following two Demand Drafts in compliance of the order of this Court dated 22.04.2022.

To consider this application for extension of time, this Court further imposed a condition to the petitioner to pay interest as per bank rates for the amount of Rs.5,00,000/- payable to the respondent, namely, V.P.Ravishankaran to compensate him for the delay caused in complying the order. Accordingly, the petitioner produced the following two Demand Drafts.

6. The learned counsel for the petitioner handed over the above 2/4

mentioned four Demand Drafts to the learned counsel for the respondent in the presence of this Court, who in turn handed over the same to the respondent, who is physically present before this Court.

7. In view of the above, the present Civil Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed.
