Respondents Petition filed under Section 11 (6) (a) & (c) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, read with Rule 2 of The Appointment of Arbitrators of Madras High Court Scheme, 1996, to appoint an Arbitrator to resolve the disputes between the petitioner and the respondents in terms of agreement dated 08.10.2012. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Prakash For Respondents : Mr.Krishnamurthy for M/s.Krishnamurthy & Co.

O R D E R

On hearing the learned counsel for the parties, it is agreed that a Sole Arbitrator has to be appointed to enter upon reference and adjudicate the disputes between the parties under the aegis of the the Madras High Court Arbitration Centre.

2.Thus, as proposed and agreed by the learned counsel for parties, I appoint Mr.S.Arunachalam, Advocate, Secretary of Society For Alternative Dispute Resolutions (SOFADS), having office at Plot No.133, Sri Ranga Co-op. Nagar, Madavaram - Redhills High road, Vadaperumpakkam, Chennai - 600 060, Ph: 94448 16042, as the Sole Arbitrator to enter upon the reference and adjudicate the disputes inter se the parties. As requested, the arbitration proceedings will be conducted under the aegis of the Madras High Court Arbitration Centre and the parties will be governed by the Rules of the Centre. 3.The original petition is, accordingly, allowed, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
