This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 1034 days in preferring the present appeal, challenging the order passed against the appellant /accused by the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive trial of Cases under POCSO Act, Coimbatore by a judgement and order dated 16.10.2020 made in Special Sessions Case No.10 of 2020.

2. This Court is convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same in usual course.
