O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Saidapet, Chennai to dispose of the trial in C.C.No.2194 of 2016 as expeditiously as possible.

2. It is seen that a complaint has been filed in C.C.No.2194 of 2016 for an offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act on the file of the Learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court , Saidapet, Chennai. It is also seen that from the history of the case hearings, it is posted on so many occasions and without any process, it was just kept pending for trial.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the Calendar Case is of the year is 2016, this Court deems it fit to direct the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court, Saidapet, Chennai to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.No. 2194 of 2016 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
